The state-mandated spring ISTEP+ assessments will be given on Feb. 26, Feb. 27, April 23, April 24 and April 25. On these five school days, all sophomores as well as juniors who have not yet passed the test will arrive at 7:50 a.m. and report to their assigned testing rooms. Freshmen, juniors who have passed the ISTEP and seniors will arrive at 9:50 a.m.
If your son or daughter is testing on these five days, the school asks that you avoid scheduling appointments and to make every effort to ensure that your child arrives on time to school ready to take the test, including getting plenty of sleep the night before and eating a good breakfast on each test day.
Parents of juniors who retook the test in November and December will receive a letter from the school during the week of Jan. 22 with information explaining how to access their son or daughter’s scores to determine if their child passed either or both the English section and the math section of ISTEP+.
Indiana high school students must pass both the English and math sections of the ISTEP in order to graduate.
Parents with questions may contact their child’s counselor or Tony Willis, the director of testing, at email@example.com.
