Dear parents,

Welcome Back!  I hope you all had a wonderful and restful Christmas break!  We are excited for a great second semester and all the great things it will bring!

With the recent weather we have been faced with, I want to remind everyone that the decision to delay or cancel school is one that is carefully considered.  If I decide to have late start or have an eLearning day due to inclement weather, the decisions will be made as early as possible. Our procedure is as followed:

  • We will make a decision no later than 5:15AM and communications will go out by 5:30AM
  • We will send a text and email to all faculty, staff, parent and student phone numbers that are in our powerschool system
  • We will post information to our social media channels
  • We will report information to the local TV and radio stations

On the days that school is cancelled due to inclement weather, we will hold e-learning days. All students are required to check their Schoology sites first thing in the morning to get their assignments for the day. These days will count as school days and prevent us from having to make up days at the end of the year.
